We are qualified Atlanta SHINE Contractors!  Don’t miss out on this opportunity for City of Atlanta residents to save even more on Energy Improvements.

SHINE is a residential weatherization rebate program offering City of Atlanta homeowners the ability to receive up to $3500 rebate towards qualifying improvements. Homeowners may also qualify for a potential $500 federal income tax credit and $2,200 in Georgia Power Rebates if certain home energy improvements are made during 2011 .

Criteria for the SHINE rebate includes:

• Home must be in the city of Atlanta

• Single-family homes qualify (need not to be owner occupied)

• Home must undergo home energy efficiency assessment (which Georgia Air Contractors, Inc. can provide you)

• Work must be performed by a SHINE qualified improvement contractor such as Georgia Air Contractors, Inc.

• Work must be completed before the rebate is issued.

Qualified improvements found from the Home Energy Improvement Test can include items such as Air sealing, Ceiling Insulation, Floor Insulation, Duct sealing, Programmable Thermostats, Water Heaters and more.  If you have been considering any of these options for your home, now is the time!
